Outstanding Audio Lead Magnet in 29 minutes with ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Summurai
The challenge of creating significant content
As a marketer, you’re likely familiar with the difficulty of producing a substantial piece of content. Whether it’s an eBook, a white paper, or even just a blog post, creating something you’re proud of usually takes a considerable amount of time.
I’ve discovered a method to produce an exceptionally appealing and significant piece of content in just 30 minutes, and honestly, it’s quite mind-blowing.
It was around 10PM last night
I stepped out of the shower, feeling down about my inability to effectively promote things. It was one of those days when progress just seemed to stall, and as an entrepreneur, I was wracked with guilt. I had been eager to finalize a significant piece of content, yet it was already late for a potential buyer.
Earlier that day, a potential client had requested that I sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). He sent me a link to sign the NDA via DocuSign. Suddenly, an idea struck me. Why not create a guide for entrepreneurs on everything they need to know about NDAs?
From that moment until I had a branded audio playlist ready for the market, it took less than 30 minutes. I’ll explain how I did this, step-by-step, including recommendations for improvement.
Step 1: Use ChatGPT to Define the Structure of the Guide
To establish an initial structure for the guide, I used the following prompt:
“I’d like your assistance in creating a 4-chapter guide called ‘The Entrepreneur’s Guide to NDAs’.”
ChatGPT provided a well-structured, 4-chapter guide, detailing what each chapter should cover.
Step 2: Ask ChatGPT to Write Each Chapter
I asked ChatGPT to write each chapter, limiting each to around 400 words. The outcome was a solid starting point. It required some additional touch-ups to add more personal insights and align it with my tone of voice, but the foundation was excellent. However, there was one issue.
The text was optimized for reading, but I wanted to create an audio guide. This meant the text, as written, would sound robotic if narrated. I needed a script. So, I asked ChatGPT to revise the text for narration. Here’s the prompt I used:
“Can you please turn this chapter into a script ready for narration, removing bullets, numerators, and subtitles?”
On a side note: I’m not sure why, but I keep using “please” and thanking ChatGPT for its hard work…
Step 3: Setting Up Visuals
With the content ready, I needed visuals to accompany it. Not feeling particularly creative, I focused on efficiency. I planned to use Midjourney for the visuals and asked ChatGPT to write a brief for each chapter’s visuals. Here’s the prompt I used: “Please create a description for a visual for each chapter.”
The results were acceptable, though they required some manual adjustments. I moved on to Midjourney, requesting 16:9 ratio images with the following command:
“/imagine <image description> —- ar 16:9”.
Now, I had both the content and the visuals.
Step 4: Creating a Branded Audio Playlist with Summurai
This was the fun part. While I guess ChatGPT and Midjourney are widely known, Summurai is still a secret most marketers don’t know about, but I guess this is only a matter of time until markteres add Summurai to their arsenal.
The Summurai platform is a unique type of a CMS, offering to create branded audio-first playlists. They Summurai playlists are a mix of blog + podcast. They put audio on the front, allowing your content to blend into the daily habbits of your audience, but don’t send your audience to the podcast platforms. The web-based interface keeps your brand on the front and allows to place a CTA. It allows marketers to add audio to their own assets.
I started by setting up the brand settings, including the company name, logo, description, and homepage link. The next step was creating a playlist. I used ChatGPT to fine-tune the guide’s description, set the cover image, and provided the #Hex color for the brand identity. The playlist was then ready.
Once the brand was set, I moved on to set up the 4 chapters. On Summurai, each chapter includes a visual, transcript, audio, and a call-to-action button, known as a “Summy.” For the voiceover, I visited the Voice Studio. After testing various avatars, I chose Antoni for his fluent and balanced voice, perfect for both formality and ease of listening. Recording with Antoni was the highlight of the process.
Assembling all 4 items took less than 10 minutes. I added the 4 Summies to my playlist, and just like that, it was ready to be shared. Check it out for yourself.
The playlist can be hosted on the company’s website and can be either open or gated. The Summurai CMS (aka “The Dojo”) offers detailed stats to explore content consumption.
Here’s my disclaimer once again:
